Well today is a historical day indeed...Kenadee got braces:) She has been looking forward to this for a long time. She has always smiled with her lips closed so I'm looking forward to her smile showing teeth. She picked hot pink bands and has smiled more in the last 4 hours than I've seen in a while. Little does she know that the novelty wares off and so does the Advil. Then it's wax balls to cover the razorblades that are cutting the inside of your mouth and drinking your protein through a straw for a few days. But in the end it's all worth it. Until then we will endure 18 trips to the Ortho and payments with each visit. "Come on, Obama! Where's my free dental care you promised?"

Ha ha! Ouch! How's she doing with those braces? They look kind of painful.
